I knew I should have headed straight for a nap after the boat trip, but I wanted to share Auntie Bo's great restaurant with the gals. Lunch was more delicious going down than coming up.
I felt better afterwards, but getting up at 4AM for a 5AM bus that finally got out of town at 6:30, didn't help.
I got to my Mandalay hotel and hid out most of the hot afternoon. A papaya lassi is all I've eaten today, and that was maybe too much.
At least Mandalay is sunny and the sky is visible, unlike last trip here, but I leave for Yangon early and bid this place farewell. Probably my least favorite place.

Clearly Mandalay is Nottingham least favorite place, as I've really hit bottom in Yangon. Memo to self: stay away from big cities!
