After boiled rice and really good coffee for breakfast, I contemplate a day in this bustling metropolis. I know for sure I don't want to spend any time on the road in traffic! So I opt to explore the Metro BTS (sky train) system and the river ferries. Its cool and breezy on the water and in half an hour I'm at sky train plotting my next move.
As its near mid day and heat exploring an air conditioned Mall is appealing. Snack at the food court, another good cup of coffee and strolling around admiring the beautifully attired Thai women NYC/Paris classy!
The Bangkok skyline has some interesting buildings in it, it actually many small villages, some are vertical.
The return ferry is a local, and only 15baht (.50) versus the 40 B for the express earlier in the day.
There's enough time to cool off in the upstairs pool, wash hair and douce myself with bug spray before Will Yaryan and I meet at 6pm.
