This used to be a place of heavy drugs, alcohol and Darwin Award candidates. ASEAN influenced the change to Eco-tourism. It was probably an easy economic sell, as folks buying kayak and cave tours bring on more money than drivers. There is no longer a bar on the river blasting the neighbors10 hours per day.
The karst peek out of the smoke haze rising to the heavens.
At 11:30 kids head home for lunch- a river of colorful parasols.
