English classes

March 21, 2013
A relaxed, kickback week in the country, just what I needed.
Teaching English two hours in the evening was a bit confusing at first. There seemed no rhyme or reason to what was being covered, rather hit or miss, but the kids asked good questions and seemed eager to expand their comprehension.
I worked up some drills and dialogs to get them speaking more. Most are pretty good on paper, but shy when it comes to speaking. I remember those days with both French and Thai.
It became the highlight of my day.

We used the primary school after hours for classes in the village of PorkPoh complete with cows, chicken, laundry all right behind the school.
