Anchors Away

Our first glimpse of the karst as we sailed out to the bay.

Our trustee Phoenix Cruiser provided lovey accommodations, a great staff and endless courses of delicious seafood twice daily.

We anchored with many others near a cave which we got to visit. We were so spoiled by the magnificence of Paradise Cave that I couldn't get too excited about this one. There was one interesting "jelly fish" formation worth noting, but most of the anthropomorphized critters were a bit tame dispight out sweet young guides excitement over it.

We did see a monkey on the way back to the cruiser, the only wildlife sighting.

There was another excursion to a beach and 430 step hike to the top which yielded nice views.

As its winter here, fog is a regular companion, but it was in the 70s.

  1. Beautiful view from the top! So you were in a multi-person "cruise" ship? The rocks look interesting, make me wonder if they are volcanic or what?
